What you see here is an operation being done on one of our test subjects. You see, one of our assistants volunteered for an experiment involving injection of alien/human hybrid genetic material into the brain. Unfortunately the brain had to be removed, and the body disposed of. The brain/eye combination is alive and well, but the excised experimental bio matter was so photo-responsive that the light in the microscope allowed it to grow off the slide.
